Proposed Topic:

 
Group based development of my application 3. I'd like to further develop this application
into a Theoretical Application. Student development of interconnection between two
network locations.
 

Target Learners:
Junior / Senior Level College students with comprehensive background in Security,
Security Protocols, Routing Protocols and Wireless protocols.
 

Describe the learning or teaching issues/challenges/gap that your target learners
face and that can possibly be addressed by your proposed instructional unit or
training module.

Many topics in college are taught at an individual level. Students may learn IPSec and
how phase 1 and phase 2 operation. They may understand the concepts of different
routing protocols and how traffic flows between source and destination. However many
problems exist when the students try to combine different technologies to form a business
solution. This course would assume the student has a good working knowledge of IPSec,
VPN technologies, Routing Protocols, 802.11 protocols. With the goal being to get the
student to bridge the gap in knowledge between learned knowledge and applying that
knowledge to a real world scenario.
